I love it when a little imagination and lot of I can’t be bothered to go to the shops blend together and I create something yummy!
That is exactly how these little beauties were born, and they tasted absolutely fabulous, it sure is helpful to have handy goodies in the freezer….
This recipe makes 4 individual pizza’s, and would have been great with a nice green salad, if I could have been bothered to make one!
INGREDIENTS
1 packet Mission Herb and Garlic Naan breads (microwaved for 30 seconds)
1 packet of ready made Falafel (microwaved for 1 minute) I used the Macro ones from Woolworths, but any brand will do.
1/4 red capsicum, finely sliced
1/4 onion, finely sliced
Sweet chilli sauce (to drizzle)
1/2 cup grated cheese.
METHOD
Lay the 4 Naan breads on a chopping board.
Gently break the Falafel into rough quarters and place on the naan.
Sprinkle the capsicum and onion on.
Drizzle the sweet chilli sauce over the pizza.
Top with grated cheese.
Spray your grill tray with non-stick cooking spray.
Turn on your grill and all to get really hot. (The heat from this will help get the naan bread warm right through)
Place under the grill and cook for about 4 minutes until golden and the cheese has melted.
It does not get much simpler than that to create a healthy and tasty meal.
Enjoy!
What is your favourite food invention?
I love the way this dish combines so many of my favourite foods in one, I’ll definitely have to try it out!
Sometimes the yummiest things come from using things you have at home, that you might not normally put together. 🙂
