When I hear the word handbag, my ears start listening and my eyes start looking!
I have a confession to make, I am
slightly addicted to handbags.
OK, I might just have one or two or ten!
There are a few Aussie bloggers that have been bearing the contents of their handbags.
Kirsten from Kirsten & Co should have at least 10 new bags after her trip to the US.
Emily from Have A Laugh On Me desperately needs a new bag, maybe I could send her one.
and Mumabulous is getting her serpent on, thankfully not the live variety.
This is my bag for the week, a gift from my girls!
Love Colette bags, great value and incredibly sturdy.
My bag is no-go rubbish zone, bad Feng Shui to have it stuffed full of crappola!
WALLET – A vital necessity and this one is a $10.00 bargain off Ebay. All important goodness is housed perfectly in this one. I like big wallets with lot’s of card slots.
NOTEBOOK & PEN – As much as I have embraced modern technology, when it comes to jotting down idea’s or important facts I prefer to write it rather than type it.
FOLD UP CARRY BAG – I am soooo over going into Aldi and having to juggle my purchases in my arms. I am also sooooo over buying more shopping bags, I have way to many of them. So I now keep this zip up bag in my handbag permanently. When it is full, it is time for me to exit Aldi immediately.
GLASSES – I was surprised that I only found one pair in my bag, normally there is more lurking in the bottom. I always carry my good ones and a few cheapie pairs to wear at work, as I am tired of dropping the good ones on the ground while I am working and watching them smash into little bits.
CARD HOLDER – Nifty little holder for ALL those store cards that I only use occasionally (cough, cough).
LIPPIES – Minimum of two, often more, if I wear nothing else, must have lipstick on when I leave home.
HAIR TIES & SAFETY PIN – Between the three of us, one of us always needs a hair tie and a safety pin can save you from all sorts of embarrassing moments.
NAIL FILE – Pet hate, hooks on nails. My nails grow like weeds and are usually pretty long. When disaster strikes and I break one, I have to file it ASAP.
COFFEE COINS – Just in case…….must have coffee, always some gold saviors lurking in the side pocket.
NAME BADGE – I might forget my name, I can just glance down for a reminder. 🙂
IPHONE LENS ATTACHMENT – Great for taking awesome shots with your iPhone, has a macro, fishbowl and panorama lens.
GARAGE BIPPER – Now if I just had a voice controlled garage door I would not need this thingy in my bag. It’s so sensitive that sometimes I just have to lift up my bag and the garage door goes up.
KEYS – No keys, no drivies.
LOCKER KEY – Keeping things safe at work.
TITANIUM PAIN PADS – Handy mini pads you can stick on sore parts of your body. Work wonders, thanks Daiso.
Must stock up on mints, I have none!
Are you game to reveal all?
Share the contents of your bag and post the link in the comments and I will add you to the list – free link love.
Sharing for #IBOT at Essentially Jess.

Love seeing what’s in everyone’s handbag! And you’re bang on with the overseas handbag purchases I may have made 😉
I knew it!!!!! 🙂
Love it. I am a huge bag addict and have way more than 10 lol. Where did you get the iPhone lens thingy. Would love one. Also never heard of those pain pads – filing in my memory bank!!!
I got the iPhone lens from my online super buddy Ebay, cost me a whole $7.95 and it works perfectly. I know there are much more expensive options out there, but I am really happy with it.
Is it really bad feng shui? That explains a lot…I will clean out my bag this arvo…
Good idea Lydia, a bag full of rubbish is bad for your money Feng Shui (as it represent disrespect for your wealth). 🙂
My bag (I have a few but can seldom be bothered changing over) is in desperate need of a feng shui clean-out. There might be useful things in it, somewhere.
Sometimes I do get a pleasant surprise when I change over and find that ‘little’ thing I have been searching for.
Oh no! I don’t think I could. I’m sure it contains things such as lipgloss (always), old receipts, loose sultanas and hair ties though!
I do remember the sultana days! 🙂
I love bag posts! Thanks for sharing 😀 (And between you and me, that is not too many handbags at all. My collection – I am a true collector – numbers into the hundreds!) I have lots of limited editions and some signed by the makers themselves. I just love bags! I don’t own any major designer bags with the insane price tags however because I cannot afford them and even if I could, I don’t think I could ever justify $2500 plus for a handbag.
Might just have to do the handbag post!
Please, please do, that sounds like a collection I would love to have a jealous fit over!!! 🙂
I have handbag envy – of the bag AND how tidy its contents are! I won’t show you mine…my feng shui is feng shuitte.
It will get your cleaned out! 🙂
Your new bag is gorgeous, Nikki!
I’m with you on the bags in Aldi. I was constantly going without one and having to add to that collection. Now I always have a fold-up carry bag too.
Between Aldi and Target (when they were charging for bags) I used to go nuts, not any more!
A cardholder! Why have I never thought of this?! What a great idea!
Best $1.95 investment ever!
I’m not sure I can share mine haha. Too much dirty junk in there!
Go on, it’s fun, and you can throw out all the junk when you are done!
That is a mighty fine collection of handbags you have there. I can’t believe how neat and tidy and practical the contents of your bag is. I won’t tell you I arrived at work yesterday to find a dirty nappy in my bag. If that’s not bad Feng Shui I don’t know what is :/ Dropping in via #teamIBOT
Been there, done that, I get it! 🙂
Man your bag collection is awesome! A bag is something I use just for convenience. But mine is in desperate need of a clean out right now!!!
I do love my bags, thanks!
Oh Wow! What a neat handbag-carrier you are! So organised. Must visit Daiso, the titanium pads have intrigued me.
My household calls my handbag The Pig. It’s disgusting.
I only have one on the go at any one time and I run it into the ground!
