JUST FOR YOU JUNE – Creating the habit of having a little ‘me’ time and reaping the rewards!
Fresh juice is quick to make and so good for you. Oranges and Lemons are packed with Vitamin C, just what we need in the cooler months to keep the cold bugs at bay.
Simply squeeze the fruit, place the juice in a large glass and fill with ice. This is a refreshing way to get your Vitamin C fix.
Don’t throw the peels in to the rubbish bin!
Slice the peels into strips, place in a small saucepan and 3/4 fill with water. Add some dried cloves and a cinnamon stick. Place on the stove over a low heat and allow to simmer.
After a few minutes your home will be filled with this fresh and spicy fragrance. Very handy to help clear the kitchen of cooking smells in winter when all the windows are shut.
Allow it to simmer for up to an hour.
