How to use a pendulum to help make decisions!

Decisions, decisions, decisions! We are always having to make choices and sometimes that can be such a hard thing to do!

Our mind comes up with all sorts of thoughts that can make the decision making process tough. We will think of all the pro’s and con’s until we get ourselves so confused and the process can get tougher. When we are confused it is hard to make choices, especially the right ones. Instead of agonising over what to do, tap into your energy and get an answer that is the right one that will benefit you the most. A pendulum is not a tool reserved for witches and warlocks, but can be a very handy tool for anyone to use.

Your pendulum can be made of metal or a beautiful crystal, your choice, your tool, so pick one that you really like. Mine is a simple brass one, not that different from this picture and it works a treat.

A pendulum can swing in a multitude of ways, and the first thing you need to do is discover your unique movement. Normally this means your ‘yes’ direction is going to be a circular pattern either clockwise or anti-clockwise, but it can be an oval or back to front.

Hold the cord/chain attached to your pendulum between your thumb and index finger and let the pendulum hang. Place your elbow on the table if you are not able to hold the pendulum comfortably.

To discover your direction, ask a simple question that has a very definate answer. Something like “Am I female?”, “Am I a mother?”, or “Is the sun hot?”, do not pick a question that could have a multiple of answers. Relax and clear your mind. Ask the question out loud if possible. You might have too do this a few times before the pendulum starts to move. When it does move keep holding it steady until a definate pattern is established. Wah Lah! – you now know your direction.

When you want the answer to any question, try and break it down to the most simple of statements and if you have to ask multiple questions, so be it.

Can’t decide where to go on your next holiday? Use a world globe and use the pendulum over each of the countries your are considering. Or use the pages of a travel brochure in the same way!

Can’t decide on what colours to paint a room. Use colour swatches from a colour chart and get your answers.

Can’t decide what to wear, lay the possible options out on your bed and use the pendulum to help guide you.

If you have lost something like car keys or jewellery. Ask questions to narrow down where the item is located.

Want to try a new sport, or a new restaurant, ask for guidence as to whether that is good choice for you right now.

Can’t decide what new car to purchase, use pictures of the options to get answers.

If buying a used car, use a picture, the actual car, or simply ask questions.

The list is endless, you can ask the pendulum anything, and if you want re-confirmation, after you have received an answer simply ask “Is this the truth” and watch for the response.

Relax and have fun, pendulums simply help you connect to the power you have with-in you, but we have been conditioned to not listen and let so called logic dictate our choices!
