I love dark denim and have never been a fan of the washed out look.
Jeans are classical and long wearing, and the only thing that’s dates them is fade. This simple solution will help lock in the colour and slow down the fade?
These new beauties are my $12.50 bargain from Rivers and I want them to stay dark!
All you need is a bucket and fill it to 3/4 full with warm water. Add 4 cups of non-iodised salt. Stir well and then add the jeans and ensure they are completely submerged. Allow them to soak overnight.
Remove from the salt water and place them in the washing machine and run them through a cycle on their own. Allow them to air dry. That’s it, very simple.
