A Fun Day Shopping At Noosa Marina

Mention Noosa and shopping in the same sentence, and Hastings Street will usually be the first thing that springs to mind.

If you can tear yourself away from the beach for a couple of hours, just minutes down the road is a great place to spend a few hours and few dollars, with water gently lapping around you.

Unlike other shopping area’s, Noosa Marina is not home to all the usual chain stores that you find in most centres.

There is some truly unique finds, great food and lovely boats to admire.

Harbour Wine Bar Noosa Marina

Food always tastes better when you have a great view!

You can’t shop on an empty stomach. Harbour Wine Bar has a prime spot for you to sit and watch the boats gently bob up and down in the water. They have a great selection of wines, savoury treats, yummy cakes and the best coffee I have had in a long while…..

coffee at Harbour Wine Bar

Fabulous coffee to match the view!

There is a traditional fish and chip shop with lovely crunchy chippies (my daughter just HAD to have some).

The White House shop for shells

All things beachy to buy!

If you love to bring the beach home with you, then make sure you call in to The White House. Beautiful home wares and lot’s of shells. All those beautiful shells on the ground are for sale and only $2.00 each. I grabbed some nice large ones to add to my collection at home. Such good value! Everything is so fresh and white, a great place to buy gifts to take home for friends.

Noosa Stylz Jewellery

Ready made jewels or create your own!

Noosa Stylz has an awesome collection of affordable jewellery pieces or if you prefer you can select your gems from the huge range and have your pieces custom made whilst you wait. You simply pay for each strand of beads or stones and the findings, assembly is no extra charge. There are just so many to pick from it is not easy to choose. This is the perfect place to shop for jewellery if you can’t find that piece to match a special outfit, just ‘create’ your own.

Chocol'arte Gifts and Gourmet

Sweet treats and gorgeous gifts in one store!

Chocol’arte is one shop that you probably cannot walk out of without making a purchase. With a great selection of lollies and chocolate that you just don’t see anywhere else. You can grab a coffee here too. Just a few more steps and you are in the gift section. Lot’s of beautiful candles, soaps, home wares, novelty gifts and plenty of prettiness. There is some really unique items here, especially for the ‘hard to buy for’ friends and family.

There is also some lovely clothes shops with resort style fashion, there are shoes, a very gorgeous store full of goodness for the little people in your life, fresh flowers, and a gallery selling beautiful pieces of art.

Everyone’s taste is covered and I guarantee you will not walk away empty handed.

If you happen to visit on a Sunday, from 8am there is a market on that you can stroll through for even more choice.

Just a short stroll away is the Noosa Regional Gallery which is certainly worth a visit. The collections change regularly and they have a shop front that features creative works from local artists at very reasonable prices. I think I will be heading back there to do some Christmas shopping later in the year. The Gallery is open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am – 4pm, and closed Monday, Tuesday and Public Holidays, so try to plan your visit to Noosa Marina on one of the days it is open.

Head to the Marina on a sunny day, wear comfortable shoes so you can enjoy walking around the area and take in the views.

Noosa Marina is located in Parkyn Court, Tewantin and Noosa Regional Gallery is in Pelican Street, Tewantin.
