How To Ask Your Intuition For Advice!

Do you struggle to make decisions quickly?

Sometimes we have to make choices and the longer we think about the question our logical brain will throw so many negatives our way you can talk yourself out of anything!

This could mean you miss out on golden opportunities or amazing experiences because we can’t make the decision to take action, incase it is not the best thing for us.

Wouldn’t it be nice to get the perfect advice every time?

How to ask your intuition for advice

Our intuition or gut feeling will ALWAYS guide us in the right direction.

Unfortunately good old powerful ego will throw you lot’s of curve balls to try and keep you safe and in the same spot you are right now, as then it has done it’s job perfectly.

Learning to trust your intuition is a powerful tool and this exercise I discovered whilst snuggled up in bed on a cold Friday night catching up on my IPad magazine collection is simply awesome. O Magazine does an fabulous job blending practical stuff with a little ‘woo woo’ goodness. Just my style.

Anyway, even though I was warm and cosy, I jumped out of bed to try this to see if it worked.

TUNE IN TO YOUR INTUITION EXERCISE

– Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and stand up tall but relaxed.

– Have your arms relaxed by your sides.

– Close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths in and out.

– Think about something that is really bad for you. Like drink driving, or eating chocolate for breakfast everyday. You can think about the particular thing or post it as a question. ‘Should I drink and drive?

– Focus on the question or thing and feel how your body moves.

– Yes, it will move! (Kind of freaky, but very fun).

– Bring your body back to centre.

– Think about something that is really good for you. Like eating lots of vegetables or drinking plenty of water.

 – Focus on that thought and see how your body moves this time.

Try it BEFORE you scroll down to see what it means.

ALMOST everyone will feel their body lean backwards when they focus on something that is not good for them. Your intuition is telling you ‘back away’ from that which is not good for you.

When you focus on something that is good for you, you will most likely lean forward as your intuition is telling you that this is good for you so go ahead and grab it.

Don’t worry if your body did move in a different way. Just try the exercise a few more times and learn to read the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ signals that your body likes to use.

Every time you are faced with a decision, break it down into parts that will be good or not good for you and use this exercise to build confidence in taking action before you will miss out again.

Another great tool you can use for getting answers from the best source, ie YOU is by using a pendulum.

Have fun, and let me know how you go.

Inviting In Good Luck!

New Years Eve has been and gone. All the plans and promises of change in the New Year have probably gone by the wayside.

Thanks to Feng Shui and the Eastern calendar, you get a second chance to start the year all over again!

Chinese New Year actually falls on the 19th of February, but the new energies that will be in play for the year will actually start to have effect on Wednesday the 4th.

To start this ‘New Year’ off right, you don’t have to make resolutions that you feel obliged to try and keep.

Instead with the help of a little cleaning and a light, you can invite good energy into your home for the year ahead and invite in good luck.

Invite good luck into your home

(This lovely one is from Pedantique.com)

Get your good luck flowing, by starting at the front door.

In Chinese tradition, this is the day you declutter and clean your home from top to toe, as dirt and clutter trap energy and cause it to stagnate.

As you probably don’t have the time to dedicate to a full clean, there are still a few things you can do to start the year off right.

– Throw out obvious rubbish that is lying around like old papers, magazines etc.

– Empty all indoor rubbish bins.

– Clear your kitchen benches and put away all dishes.

– Wipe down your front door.

– Sweep your porch.

– Wash or dust off your front door mat.

– Turn on your porch light and leave it on all night.

Your home is your sanctuary and can support your health, wealth and happiness.

Keeping your house clean and clear of unnecessary ‘stuff’ is the easiest way to keep energy fresh and powerful.

Are you a clutter collector?

10 Simple Steps For A Healthier New You!

Our health is our greatest asset and when we feel good everything just seems to fall in to place so much easier. We cope better with stress, we have more energy and have more joy to share with the world. A great way to start the New Year is to do a little repair and maintenance on some of your health habits.

None of these are very hard to incorporate  into daily life, but will have very positive effects on your overall health.

  1. Invest in a daily moisturiser that has sunscreen included in it. EVERYONE in the household will look younger and slash the risk of skin cancer if they use it everyday!
  2. Make sure you have breakfast EVERYDAY, It is vital to kick start the metabolism, help balance sugar levels and wake up the brain. Even if it is as simple as a Up & Go drink, it is important to have something that is as healthy as possible.
  3. Use a diary with a page a day that includes everything that you must remember EVERYDAY, stressing about forgetting to pay for a school outing or book you promised to a work collegue can ruin a good day.
  4. Share any form of activity with a friend, partner, child or pet. Get moving whilst keeping it fun and spending quality time with someone you love – double bonus!
  5. Make the effort to take healthy lunches from home, great for the waistline and the budget.
  6. Salads can be so much more than lettuce and tomato on the side of the plate. Find a few quick and easy salad recipies that can become a simple dinner but full of goodness.
  7. It is vital to drink plenty of water, and it can really be hard to get the kids to agree. Freeze water bottles with a few raspberries, blue berries, orange or lime segments in them. They look fantastic, taste great and are so much more tempting.
  8. Indulge in the fruits of the season. They have the best nutritional value and the best value price tag when they are in season.
  9. Take a good quality multi-vitamin EVERYDAY, keeping essential nutrient levels up plays a vital role in feeling good.
  10. Put a big SMILE on your face, even if you are feeling down. Smiling releases ‘feel good’ hormones that relieve stress levels.

These simple tricks will help you to feel good and look good, enjoy!
