Once A Bargain Hunter, Always A Bargin Hunter!

Are you a bargain hunter?

I am and always will be! Very rarely do I pay full price for anything, and my Easter break was no different.

Heading up the coast to spend Easter with my family, I had no plans for any shopping expeditions. I was planning on spending time with my family that I don’t get to see that often as we are all so busy, enjoy lot’s of good food, wine and consume large amounts of chocolate.

Good Friday was spent basking in the sun and swimming in the ocean. The weather was so deliciously warm for this time of year, how could I refuse the lure of beautiful warm water?

Saturday morning saw the onset of grey skies and a little rain, and as we had guests coming for dinner, a little preperation for that was not going to take all day. To fill in some time we headed to Noosaville for a wander and a nice cup of coffee. I had no intentions to buy anything, but the universe had other plans!

For the last few months Miss WW has been dress shopping for a school formal dress. She has tried on many, spent hours scouring the net for possibilities and changing her mind regularly. One minute it is over the top bling and sparkles and the next minute it is sleek and simple…………….it’s a girl thing.

We amble along the street, and casually walk into Angels – a store filled to the brim with formal, semi-formal, evening and wedding dresses, but what catches my daughters eye, a purple creation hanging on the ‘SALE’ rack, oh yeah, it is in the gene’s, my daughter also has the knack for snaffling a bargain.

Just a little ‘sneek peek’ of the very gorgeous purple/beaded gown, with a low cut back, that fit’s perfectly and is now proudly hanging in my office from the curtain rod, as we have not quite figured out how to hang it in a wardrobe without squashing it!

The best part of all of this though, is the PRICE, reduced from many hundreds of dollars to $79.00! Just love it!

Coffee was consumed and a few others stores visited, and mum wanted to visit one more store before we headed home. An outlet store that she was hoping might have a suitable gift for a friend of her’s. That didn’t happen, but I scored a beauty.

It’s no secret amoungst my group that I have a ‘thing’ for shoes and bags. Have more than I could ever need, but love adding to the collection when the right item comes along.

This gorgeous item has now been added to my collection for the princely sum of $10.00!

Spoilt by Senka is a must stop shop for all things bags and bling. A great selection at amazing prices. Will definately call in there again, next time I go up to the Sunshine Coast.

So very thankful that we have found Miss WW a gorgeous dress and the hunting can cease, got the shoes, now we just need to find a silver glittery evening bag to finish off the ensemble.

What was your latest bargain find?
